CURRENT OPENINGS

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

SUMMARY: APC’s Account Executive is responsible for executing day-to-day deliverables in collaboration with Account Leaders for the benefit of clients and our agency.

EXPECTED ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CLIENT SERVICE

  • Serve as a client contact and team conduit
    • Meet multiple client and team deadlines and deliverables
    • Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients and agency partners
    • Understand key client information including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitors
    • Provide client service administration including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling conversational monitoring reports and competitor coverage, scheduling and logistics

CONTENT CREATION

  • Consistently produce quality brand marketing & communications content
    • Research, outline, write, edit and proofread materials for client campaigns (traditional & social)
    • Develop marketing, media and messaging materials: press release, media advisory, talking points, etc.
    • Develop social media posts and content
    • Support development of client newsletters/e-blasts

MEDIA, COMMUNITY & INFLUENCER ENGAGEMENT

  • Help maintain media and social influencer relationships on behalf of clients and agency
    • Establish productive relationships with editors, reporters, and social influencers
    • Stay informed with daily news consumption through daily monitoring
    • Share proactive opportunities for client engagement in traditional and social media
    • Develop and execute media relations strategies and outreach to elevate client storytelling

TEAM ENGAGEMENT

  • Supervise interns/trainees
  • Work proactively with team members and colleagues of all levels

ONGOING LEARNING

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, cultural movements and moments to help team and clients navigate opportunities mindfully
  • Seek opportunities to take on new challenges and learn new skills for the benefit of professional growth, team and client output

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate will have at least one year of experience in the communications field or relevant industry

ASSISTANT ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

SUMMARY: APC’s Assistant Account Executive is responsible for supporting day-to-day deliverables working in collaboration with the full APC team.

 EXPECTED ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Research and digest key client information including business strategy, products and services, key customers, and competitors
    • Help support client service including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings, compiling recaps, monitoring reports and support with scheduling and logistics

CONTENT CREATION

  • Support the production of quality brand marketing & communications content
    • Help research and develop materials for client campaigns (traditional & social)
    • Support the development of marketing, media and messaging materials: press release, media advisory, talking points, etc.
    • Assist in the development of social media posts and content

PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERNSHIP 

Interested in making a difference and building meaningful client and community impact? APC Collective is for you. This is real work for real clients. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of communications and community engagement, working alongside professionals who are passionate about the work, love working together and having fun daily. This 12-week internship program (possibly longer if we click), will equip you with the skills necessary to prosper in this industry along with excellent referrals to a wide variety of brands and agencies. We are seeking individuals who are driven, creative, trustworthy, hard-working, and interested in collaborating with great minds to help build, shape, and cultivate impactful client stories and mindful community engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Actively participate in campaign development
  • Write and create compelling stories, pitches, releases, social content
  • Support media outreach and building of community relationships
  • Execute, monitor, and recap PR campaigns and initiatives
  • Engage and identify with notable community and social influencers
  • Work in an environment that encourages curiosity, diversity and innovation
  • Our end goal: Help provide you with the skills and tools to truly make an impact

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Students in communications, public relations, marketing or related major preferred
  • Availability for a 12-week program
  • Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • This is a paid internship
